Energy Communities Master Class: Shaping the Future of Local Energy Systems

The recently concluded ManagEnergy Master Class on Energy Communities gathered 27 participants from 16 different countries for an in-depth exploration of the potential, challenges, and practicalities of setting up and running energy communities. Led by experts Christiane Egger (OÖ Energiesparverband) and Francisco Puente (Escan Energy Consulting), the training covered key topics, from European regulatory frameworks to real-world financing and operational models.

Participants had the opportunity to engage directly with experts, exchange experiences, and develop tailored solutions for their own local projects. This hands-on approach, combined with insights from European Commission representatives, made the training a unique opportunity to foster cross-border collaboration and accelerate the energy transition.
