Public building users are involved and encouraged to reduce energy consumption using digital tools developed in partnerships. In the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, the energy agency AURA-EE, collaborated with High Schools (Picasso-Aragon Givors and Condorcet Saint-Priest) and other stakeholders in order to create a digital application for the monitoring of energy consumption.
About 600 students have been involved so far, especially through living labs. Thanks to their collaboration with students of the Master program in Applied Social Psychology at the University of Lyon, some of them have been trained to use different tools of social psychology. It helped them to prepare a communication campaign aimed at promoting the application and behaviour changes.
