In 2011 the hydropower plant, located in Lyckeåborg Blekinge, was totally renewed in order to reduce oil consumption and optimize the use of renewable energy sources.

The hydropower plant at the company MCT Brattberg is located by the river Lyckebyån. Different businesses have used the river as a power source since 1760 and onwards. The current state of the hydropower plant was put into operation in 1958 and was totally renovated in 2011. The purpose of the action is to reduce oil consumption and to optimize the use of Renewable energy sources.
