Energy in Agriculture is back in Gurteen College on Tuesday 19^th July 2022.

This year sees an expansion to the original theme and the brand has been developed to include Energy and Farm Business Show. It takes place over one day but is an ambitious and jam-packed agenda. The minister for Agriculture and Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications are both in attendance along with the Minister of State for Land Use and Biodiversity.

The programme includes 3 live panel debates, 16 seminar sessions, Demos, large Exhibition area and 1:1 Clinics covering 9 different support areas.
The talks will take place throughout the day in 3 purpose-built pavilions with topics focused on:

Energy
Farm Business Options
Land Use Change and Sustainability

As we know, the agricultural sector is at a crossroads, facing difficult challenges and a rapidly changing landscape. This years event acknowledges the difficulties the sector faces and explores opportunities for those interested in diversification; be it energy production, agri-food or agri-tourism ventures or other land-use changes.
