Bringing together a variety of tools and instruments to overcome the financial gap between energy planning and implementation, this session will provide clear experience-based solutions to decision-makers at the local and regional levels. Targeting policy-makers and administrators, this workshop aims to enhance the discussion on energy finance and place it at the centre of the debate on moving towards a clean energy transition. Investment concepts resulting from the EU City Facility will be presented as key examples of investment leverage at local level. The European Investment Bank will bring extensive knowledge of providing project development assistance under programmes such as ELENA, while CINEA will contribute to the discussion with their overarching policy work.
