Effective Home Renovation Programs To Stimulate The Post Covid-19 Recovery

join us during EUSEW 2020 in this session on Effective Home Renovation Programs To Stimulate The Post Covid-19 Recovery

The 25 June 2020 from 11:00 to 12:30 Brussels time

Home and the building renovation are relevant for the implementation of the Green Deal and the post-Covid-19 crisis recovery. Without effective home renovation programs (that is to say, programs that combine the financing and technical assistance), we would be losing out on an opportunity to get Europe back on track and meet Green Deal’s targets.

This Session, organized in the framework of the EU Sustainable Energy Week will focus on Sustainable Home Renovation Programs and their role in the recovery from the crisis. It will take place on June 25th, 11:00 – 12:30.

Sustainable home renovation offers an incredible opportunity to kick-start Europe’s post-Covid-19 economic recovery, achieve our decarbonization targets and create vibrant, resilient communities of healthy citizens. One key challenge is to increase the renovation rate in Europe while improving the health and well-being of Europeans. This goal can be achieved by making home renovation easier, faster, more reliable and affordable for all while creating a lasting social, environmental and economic impact.

This session will showcase successful home renovation programs that have the ability to play a pivotal role in achieving the European Green Deal’s goals. It will highlight several initiatives that provide technical support and financing to European citizens, within the framework of broader urban regeneration strategies :

Speakers from Spain, Italy, Belgium, and Ireland will share their practical insights on best practices in program design, operations, financing models, marketing and outreach and scalability.
