IN-PLAN Train the Trainer

The IN-PLAN project is having a Train the Trainer programme, a new capacity-building opportunity, offered to energy and climate agencies to develop integrated spatial planning.

The participants will be attending 3 online sessions: November 7th, 14th, and 21st at 10AM – 12:30PM CET
Please note the time difference if you are not in Central Europe

Day 1 – November 7 (10:00 to 12:30 CET):
Spatial Planning and Climate Action (including best practice case studies)

• Different types of current planning models;
• Purpose of sustainable planning and how to broaden the current planning processes;
• Integrated Spatial Planning;
• Types of partnerships required for this process.

Day 2 – November 14 (10:00 to 12:30 CET): 
Creating your own spatial plan with expert guidance

• Carry out and critically evaluate a spatial planning process;
• Integrate spatial planning into local development plans.

Day 3 – November 21 (10:00 to 12:30 CET): 
Leadership, communication, and presenting your Spatial Plan

• Discover the qualities of a good leader;
• Personal leadership style and how to relate it to your position;
• How to create a good communication strategy;
• Consider and work with opposing opinions in communication.

How can I participate?

The IN-PLAN Train the Trainer programme is open to any Energy, Climate, and/or Development Agency in Europe. The application process is mandatory to access the session. Interested agencies are invited to fill in the application form on the EU Survey platform BEFORE OCTOBER 31st by clicking on the button below.
