Islands secretariat Technical Assistance Webinar

Join this webinar to learn how the Clean Energy for EU islands secretariat provides technical support to help island communities advance in their energy transition. The webinar will start with inspiring, concrete results from the first round of technical assistance, for example: road transport electrification in Greek islands, funding and financing seminars tailored to energy projects, stakeholder inclusion, and modelling of energy systems to analyse how storage and wind and solar may affect the island’s electricity grid.

In the second part of the webinar, all the details of the new call will be provided, which will be open from 21 February until 21 March 2022. The procedure will be similar to the first call, but new ‘bundles’ for support will be included -based on experience from the first call and on the examples presented in the first part.
