Estonian Islands Energy Agency is a not-for-profit organization.
We operate as a social enterprise and our work is funded through the provision of innovative engineering services, education and advice and supported by grant aid from national and European sources.
Our goal is to deliver the energy transition at scale in archipelago through innovation and world class project delivery. We bridge the gap between climate targets and real-world results by taking the engineering & financial actions necessary to deliver on Estonia’s Climate Action Plan.
We enable local authorities, communities and businesses to deliver renewable energy projects and become more energy efficient. We focus on innovation and best practice to scale up the energy transition, and are at the forefront of the development of community energy production in the Baltic Sea. We collaborate with third level institutions on national and European research and demonstration projects.
We translate zero-carbon ambitions into practical actions with measurable results.
All communities, organizations, and citizens on islands participate in the energy transition and achieve carbon neutrality.
Our team of experts are committed to providing a comprehensive range of energy services to support sustainable energy use in all sectors. Staff of 7 will start from summer 2024.
