WEBINAR: How to get your project financed with reduced dependence on subsidies?

On 11 January 2022, PROSPECT+ will organise a webinar on the topic of financing local and regional climate action with other-than-subsidies instruments presenting the speakers from Adelphi, CINEA, Energy Cities and Eurocities.

WEBINAR: How to get your project financed with reduced dependence on subsidies?

The climate targets are increasingly ambitious and the scale of the challenge faced by local and regional authorities all across Europe requires increased use of other-than-subsidies financing instruments for investments in sustainable energy and low-emission mobility.

By introducing a variety of innovative financing instruments, the webinar will showcase the opportunities to get an in-depth understanding of their practical use through best-practice exchange with peers across Europe under a capacity-building project PROSPECT+.

In this #H2020Prospect webinar, you will get an overview of:
✔️ the innovative financing instruments available to local authorities across Europe,
✔️ best practice examples,
✔️ the Prospect+ free capacity-building programme and how you can benefit from it, ✔️ the latest opportunity to join the project as a mentee.

Innovative financing

The Capacity-Building Programme will focus on innovative financing for energy and climate actions with a strong focus on the crucial aspects of capacity building, decision-making and replication processes.

To reduce the dependence on subsidies, the project offers innovative financing schemes that are often more flexible and quicker solutions:

• Citizens Finance: crowdfunding and cooperatives
• Energy Performance Contracting (EPC)
• Internal Contracting
• Green Bonds
• Guarantee Funds
• Soft Loans
• Revolving Funds
• Third Party Financing

More information about financing is available in the video from the PROSPECT+ webinar below:
