European Commission President Ursula Von der Leyen presented the political guidelines for next term: here is an overview
On 18 July 2024, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, who was elected for a second mandate, presented to the European Parliament her Political Guidelines for the next European Commission 2024-2029.
After appointing her fellow Commissioners, the President of the European Commission Ursula Von der Leyen sent each of them an official letter detailing the political tasks and projects for their portfolio for the coming term of office.

It should be noted that these documents only give an indication of the political trajectory initiated by the European Commission, as the new college of Commissioners should be officially appointed on the 1st of December 2024.
