What’s new in the negotiations on the recast of the Energy Efficiency Directive

The recast of the Energy Efficiency Directive is one of the highlights of the EU’s legislative agenda. The Directive is indeed a crucial piece of the package foreseen under the new REPowerEU plan, in a context of uncertainty as to the energy supplies and high energy prices.

FEDARENE is following closely the advances of the negotiations on this Directive which, if ambitions are safeguarded, could have far-reaching implications for markets and societies across Europe.
