Check out FEDARENE first paper on Climate Adaptation!

During the last months, the Climate Adaptation Working Group (WG) has been revitalised and three meetings have been held. Among other activities, members have been busy drafting FEDARENE’s first position paper on climate adaptation and we are happy to share the final version with you. With this paper, we are aiming at:

  1. Positioning regions and agencies as central stakeholders in implementing climate adaptation measures and in becoming climate resilient
  2. Demonstrating the competence and work of FEDARENE and its members related to adaptation to potential members and partners
  3. Raising awareness on the urgency of adaptation to climate change in all European regions

This document is FEDARENE first position paper on adaptation. The aim is to use it as the first step of a longer lobbying strategy. It will be followed by other activities of the working group such as a brochure gathering members’ best practices and a more technical position paper on funding rates.
