Purpose of the event

Organized by FEDARENE and B.&S.U. Beratungs- und Service- Gesellschaft Umwelt mbH in cooperation with ESCAN sl and Friuli Venezia Giulia Energy Agency (APE FVG), the online event ‘Renewable Energy Communities: Empowering Citizens in the Renewable Energy Transition’ aims to highlight the role of Renewable Energy Communities in the European Union. The event will focus on how citizens can be supported in setting up and expanding Renewable Energy Communities, what innovative approaches exist in this field, and how the heating and cooling transition can be promoted in the field of Energy Communities.
