FEDARENE General Assembly 2025

Join us for the 2025 FEDARENE General Assembly in Brussels on 14–15 May 2025, where we’ll celebrate FEDARENE’s 35th anniversary—a milestone not to be missed!

From the 14 May 2025 to the 15 May 2025 Brussels, Belgium

A Milestone Event

This year’s General Assembly is particularly special as we celebrate 35 years of FEDARENE and host the 8th Edition of the Roger Léron Award Ceremony.

It comes at a crucial time to reflect on the evolving role of energy agencies in Europe’s energy transition. Together, we’ll tackle current political and geopolitical challenges and define the strategic priorities for our Federation and its members.

What to Expect

The agenda includes:

  • A brand-new session on Multilevel Governance for Climate Solutions, co-organised with the Covenant of Mayors, Regio1st, and the European Committee of the Regions — featuring hands-on examples and an open exchange with local, regional, and EU stakeholders.
  • A convivial Members’ Evening on 14 May, with a special FEDARENE Treasure Hunt and a tasting of regional products and drinks.
  • An interactive General Assembly, featuring breakout discussions where newly elected board members will exchange with all participants on strategic priorities and future collaboration for the next three years.
  • EU policy discussions on regional leadership, with opportunities for members to share their experiences directly with EU representatives on key topics such as the Clean Industrial Deal, Energy Communities, Climate Adaptation, and more.
  • The festive Roger Léron Award Ceremony, celebrating 35 years of FEDARENE at the iconic Théâtre du Vaudeville.
  • Plenty of networking opportunities, including an opportunity to disseminate your ingoing projects through a poster exhibition.
