A local farmer in the northern part of Denmark was considering building a biogas farmer plant. In order to help him, BiogasAction made a number of different calculations based on different tools in order to give him an impression of the amount of financing needed.

A local farmer in the northern part of Denmark was considering building a biogas farmer plant and was looking at new opportunities for his farm. In order to help him, BiogasAction made a number of different calculations based on different tools in order to give him an impression of the amount of financing needed. The good practice is not the specific case, but the way different tools are used to make a business model for a new biogas plant. By using different results from different tools and calculate an average from the different models, BiogasAction was able to come up with a model showing both high, low and average results. This result was combined with figures from plants in operation.
