The background for forming a network between biogas plants is that plants are not competitors, although they operate on a free market. Instead, they want to make sure that they are operating their plants in the most efficient way possible. This was subsequently cancelled by the Danish state which created the need for a new forum.
The purposes of these networks are :
The network has made it possible to offer two types of education that can be fitted to the biogas business. We now have a vocational and a diploma education. We have also raised the knowledge about biogas at educational institutions. Teachers have been participating in knowledge sharing at biogas plants.
