The Regional Government of Castilla y León, Junta de Castilla y León, in collaboration with the Provincial Government of Soria, financed the construction of the plant “Planta de Purines de Almazán (Soria)”.

The production of pig farmer systems has evolved toward intensive exploitation which is concentrated in specific places. Those farms generate a lot of quantities of residues, generally as manure, which is distributed in the cultivation fields in the upper level to the capacity of extraction by the plants with the consequence of environmental pollution. The Regional Government of Castilla y León, Junta de Castilla y León, in collaboration with the Provincial Government of Soria, financed the construction of the plant in ground ceded by the Council of Almazán.
