Seminar held in St Pölten (AT) within BIOGAS13
ARGE, the Austrian Compost & Biogas Association is organising the 6th edition of the Austrian Biogas Congress, supported by klima:aktiv, the climate protection initiative of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management and the Austrian biogas industry. More than 500 participants are expected.
Biogas and Biomethane development have achieved a certain maturity. Despite the effort of the regional decision-makers, the biogas plants operators, the technology developers and the research sector, there are still barriers that need to be removed. The Biogas13 speakers will provide answers to this challenge.
The 3 projects supported by the Energy Intelligent Europe programme Biomethane Regions (in English), FABbiogas (in German) and BiogasHeat (in German) will share their experiences and will highlight the latest developments in biogas and biomethane in Europe.
The Biomethane-Regions session showed how the promotion of anaerobic digestion and of biogas upgrading technology supports the market development of biomethane for grid injection and vehicle usage.
