Join the Covenant of Mayors peer learning programme and learn how to develop or implement your long-term strategy.
The peer learning programme is addressed to regional/sub-regional authorities and energy agencies.

CoM Peer Learning Programme Extended

On the 18th January 2021, the Covenant launched its new peer learning programme, which is open for registrations until the 31st March 2021. Regions, sub-regional authorities and energy agencies can participate if they are already members of the Covenant of Mayors or if they join by June 2021.

The programme will ensure participants undertake stimulating exchanges, including activities such as:

  • Exchanging ideas on how to adapt to climate change through nature-based solutions
  • Learning how to co-create a climate pact with citizens and business or to develop a climate neutrality strategy
  • Getting tailored feedback and advice on their long-term energy planning

Who can apply?

  • All Covenant of Mayors – Europe Territorial Coordinators from the Horizon 2020 associated countries (list here), except those from the UK or those covered by another regional covenant.  
  • Non-Covenant of Mayors Territorial Coordinators from the EU, under the condition that they will complete their registration to the Covenant of Mayors 2030 before the start of the peer learning programme in June 2021.  
  • Energy agencies acting as Covenant of Mayors – Europe official Supporters from the EU and the Horizon 2020 associated countries (list here), except those from the UK or those covered by another regional covenant. 
  • Non-Covenant of Mayors – Europe official Supporters from the EU, under the condition that they will complete their registration to the Covenant of Mayors 2030 before the start of the peer learning programme in June 2021.
