The most important Forum on the energy transition for EU islands is back from the 20 to 21 of May. Participate and gain technical advice, or become an exhibitor and showcase your projects!
The first forum of Phase II of the Clean Energy for EU islands secretariat – an initiative of the European Commission – will present practical steps towards the decarbonisation of EU islands and showcase ongoing and completed clean energy projects on islands.
The 2-day event will be a knowledge hub on the clean energy transition. It will provide participants with a platform to gain visibility for their clean energy initiatives, to get technical assistance for designing, preparing, and implementing their decarbonisation plans and to gain knowledge on project financing.
The forum will present the following topics:
Meet representatives of the EU islands, academic institutions, private sector stakeholders and high-level EU representatives and get to know about the objectives of Phase II of the Clean Energy for EU Islands initiative with its “Explore, Shape and Act” approach. Learn more about the results of the Secretariat’s first call for technical assistance and get insights into best practices directly from the islands.
Have a look at the Agenda.
The exhibition fair showcases clean energy projects and activities on islands to the wider European community and enables exchange between exhibitor and audience.
The application is open for clean energy providers, investors, island networks, EU initiatives/projects, project developers, associations/agencies, academia and public authorities.
The deadline to apply is May 12.
