Join the Covenant of Mayors – Europe and CINEA in this webinar on 5 different funding and financing opportunities under the Built4People partnership of the Horizon Europe program, Cluster 5: Climate, energy and mobility, with the closing deadline in January 2023.

The 04 October 2022 from 14:00 to 15:30 Brussels time

In the current context ofenergy crisis, reducing our energy consumption is the fastest way to increase our energy security, reduce energy bills and achieve climate neutrality objectives.

Buildings in the EU are responsible for 40% of our energy consumption and 36% of greenhouse gas emissions. Cities have a big role to play here as they are responsible for the management of large stock of public buildings (schools, sports facilities, hospitals, etc.), social housing, hard infrastructure and vehicle fleets. Together with public housing companies, owners associations, and the building sector, cities translate the broader objectives for the building sector into real projects. However, carrying out energy efficient building renovations can sometimes be expensive and owners may not have the means to finance them.

Therefore, today’s webinar will provide an overview of 5 different funding and financing opportunities, under the Built4People partnership in Horizon Europe program, Cluster 5: Climate, energy and mobility, with the closing deadline in January 2023.

Horizon Europe is the ambitious EU research & innovation framework programme for 2021-2027 with a budget of €95.5 billion. Built4Peope, managed by European Construction Technology Platform (ECTP) and World Green Building Council’s Europe Regional Network, is a research and innovation partnership based on “people-centric sustainable built environment”. During the webinar you will have the chance to hear from experts and project managers from the European Commission and from the Built4People partnership, as well as, ask your questions to apply for the calls before the closing deadline.
