IN-PLAN Train the Trainer #2

The second edition of the programme will take place online on 20 February, 27 February and 4 March 2024. Staff of Energy, Climate, and Development Agencies are invited to apply.

From the 20 February 2024 to the 04 March 2024

The IN-PLAN Train the Trainer programme is a new capacity-building opportunity offered to energy and climate agencies to develop integrated spatial planning.

After a successful first edition held in the fall, the programme is back for a second iteration online.

Is this programme for you?

  • You are an energy, climate and/or development agency that wants to support your territory in developing and implementing integrated energy, climate, and spatial planning;
  • You want guidance on spatial plans’ integration and use;
  • You are looking for practical tools to help you find the right data and methods, and for support to start your spatial planning;
  • You are confused about which stakeholders should be involved in your planning process;
  • You want to learn from best practices and successful examples from your peers in Europe.

Objective

You will benefit from a free online IN-PLAN Train the Trainer programme of 7.5 hours in total, spread over 3 mornings (3 x 2.5 hours each). The programme includes group work, collaboration with peers and experts, and work-based assignments.

Experts from the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) and Energy, Climate, and Development Agencies will build your capacity to deliver tailored training and mentoring programmes to local authorities on climate action in spatial planning.

At the completion of the 3 sessions, you will receive a Digital Badge credential and will become an official IN-PLAN multiplier. Consequently, you will be able to help your local and regional authorities, training them in adopting the IN-PLAN Practice and changing their ways towards Integrated Spatial Planning.

You will also be regularly invited to participate in the project’s activities, such as sharing your experience with other agencies.
