PLAN4CET and REGILIENCE projects are joining forces to organise a webinar on integrated planning for energy and climate adaptation.
The overall objective of this Open Training Session is to equip public authorities with practical knowledge and tools to develop integrated approaches to build climate-resilient societies. Our aim is to better understand the connexions between local planning for the clean energy transition and for climate adaptation. As energy is a key sector in both mitigation and adaptation, we will use it as starting point to reflect on synergies and integration of both, adaptation and clean energy planning.
After an introduction synergies between climate adaptation and energy, we will explore how urban planning can integrate both, clean energy and adaptation. We will then hear about concrete examples of measures addressing both energy and climate aspects: climate proofing and nature-based solutions. Finally, we will conclude with a description of some monitoring and evaluation specificities for adaptation measures.
Wants to get inspired by measures addressing both energy and climate aspects? Don’t miss our webinar!
