About
Christian is a Project Officer whose work at FEDARENE fosters the energy and climate transition on European islands, highlighting their work as pioneers of combined adaptation and mitigation actions. In his role, he is a Work Package and Task Leader for three European projects that focus on developing renewable energy valleys and incorporating social and digital innovations into energy communities in Mallorca, Crete, and a number of small Mediterranean islands.
He is also responsible for the network’s Islands College, which represents 15 FEDARENE members active on EU Islands.
Prior to joining FEDARENE, Christian gained experience and developed skills related to project organisation and policy analysis through his previous professional experiences, which included supporting policy and project items at multiple environmental non-profit organisations. Christian has an educational background in international relations and sustainability.
