Christian Galletta

As a Project Officer at FEDARENE, Christian supports the energy and climate transition on European islands, highlighting their pioneering work in combining adaptation and mitigation actions. His project work focuses on developing renewable energy valleys and incorporating social and digital innovations into energy communities in Mallorca, Crete, and a number of small Mediterranean islands.

He is also responsible for FEDARENE’s Islands College, representing 15 members active on EU Islands.

Before joining FEDARENE, Christian gained experience in project organisation and policy analysis through roles supporting multiple environmental non-profit organisations. Christian has an educational background in international relations and sustainability, and he is fluent in Italian and English.
