About
Loïc is a Policy Officer who contributes to project and policy advocacy efforts at FEDARENE and has a background in political and social sciences. Passionate about socio-ecological transitions and energy democracy, Loïc applies his in-depth knowledge of citizen-led energy and sustainable heating & cooling to projects in these focus areas.
He completed a PhD at UCLouvain, exploring the role of local energy governance in explaining the (non)emergence of renewable energy cooperatives. While his research focused primarily on Belgium, he also published work on Portugal, the Netherlands, Poland, Lithuania, and Czechia.
