Successful applicants for ePLANET Call include 2 FEDARENE members!

The ePLANET project has selected regional partners to join its team after an open call that sought alliances for work on the energy transition. Seven regional authorities and energy agencies across Europe have been invited to work with the project toward a new digital framework to share harmonized information for a clean energy transition. In addition, the partners will benefit from tailored support, including:

  • study visits to one of the project regions,
  • peer-to-peer guidance and
  • tailored webinars and workshops.

The seven selected regional partners are:

  • 3 Counties Energy Agency* (Southeast, IRELAND) (FEDARENE Member)
  • Agency for Energy Efficiency and Environmental Protection (Bucharest, ROMANIA) (FEDARENE Member)
  • Municipality of Fyli (Ano Loisia, GREECE)
  • Regional Development Fund of Central Macedonia (Region of Central Macedonia, GREECE)
  • Black Sea Regional Agency for Energy Management (Varna, BULGARIA)
  • Comunidad Intermunicipal do Tâmega e Sousa (Tâmega e Sousa, PORTUGAL)
  • Consell Comarcal del Baix Llobregat (Barcelona, SPAIN)

*3CEA is expanding and will soon announce a change to its name & branding.

Together, the regional partners and the project team will follow the ePLANET’s mission to improve the coordination between local authorities and regional governments in order to optimise the decision-making process, coherence and consistency of the implementation of energy transition measures in towns and cities.

Congratulations to all of the successful applicants!
