QualDeEPC enhance energy performance certification accelerating deep renovation

Launched in September 2019, QualDeEPC is an EU-funded Horizon 2020 project that aims to enhance the quality and cross-EU convergence of Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) schemes, and the link between EPCs and deep renovation. With the expertise of eleven partners from eight countries, QualDeEPC will stimulate such changes by (1) intensive dialogue involving the important stakeholders at all levels from the very beginning in the above four project stages and (2) disseminating its findings among the relevant target audiences in Europe.

This first issue of our project’s newsletter informs about the first activities and milestones of the project. Inside, you will read about:

  • The project presentation and its achievements so far
  • 7 Priorities for enhanced Energy Performance Certification in Europe
  • The national dialogue process initiated in several EU Member States
  • The resulting report on the gaps and shortcomings in the current EPC schemes
  • Managing a Horizon project in the spring of Covid-19
  • The first Joint Webinar with QualDeEPC’s sister projects, U-Cert and X-tendo
