The 3rd Opengela Newsletter interviews Jon Iraola, the mayor of Eibar, who knows the Opengela project first hand. Before he took office in March 2021, he was the councillor for Works, Town Planning and the Environment at the Town Council in charge of managing matters related to urban regeneration in the Txonta neighbourhood, one of the two pilot areas of Opengela. He has now added to these responsibilities by becoming the highest authority in the municipality of Gipuzkoa. In this interview, he gives his point of view on the progress of Opengela in Eibar.
