ClimAct CEE: Enforcing Decarbonised and Low-Emission Urban Zones to Fight Climate Change at Municipal Level

We want to share an exciting opportunity for those interested in climate action and urban sustainability. On 5 November 2024 at 10:00 CET, the ClimAct CEE project will hold its final EU webinar, “ClimAct CEE: Enforcing Decarbonised and Low-Emission Urban Zones to Fight Climate Change at the Municipal Level.” This event, hosted via MS Teams, will gather energy experts, local authorities, and key stakeholders to explore essential climate adaptation measures.

The webinar will focus on the Integrated Climate Screening and GHG and Air Emissions Inventory Framework, a key tool for supporting climate actions in municipalities. It will also showcase the establishment and implementing of pilot Decarbonised Low-Emission Zones (DLEZ) in Bulgaria, Croatia, and Romania. Attendees will benefit from insights on:

  • The Integrated Climate Screening and GHG and Air Emissions Inventory Framework,
  • Tools developed for climate screening within the ClimAct CEE project,
  • Experiences from the pilot DLEZ in Bulgaria, Croatia, and Romania,
  • Policy lessons from the enforcement of DLEZ across these countries.
