After an open call, the following 7 regional partners were selected:

The selected regional authorities and energy agencies will follow the ePLANET’s mission to improve the coordination between local authorities and regional governments in order to optimise decision-making processes, coherence and consistency with respect to implementing energy transition measures in towns and cities.

A need survey to better understand follower regions needs in currently ongoing.

The ePLANET H2020 project has received funding from the European Union‘s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement N° 101032450.

On the 27th March 2022, FEDARENE organised ePLANET 6th Stakeholder Forum, addressing the topic of “Data Treatment”.

ePLANET Meeting in Paris outlines the pathway towards regional implementation

After the first half of the project duration, the recap of the achievements especially on Multi-level governance and the different Use-cases of the ePLANET platform helped to plan and design the further regional integration of the results and replication in the ePLANET follower regions.

The ePLANET project identified best practices of governance structures that optimise the planning and implementation of effective energy & environment policies in Europe. But what is governance exactly? Why is it important? And how can it be improved?

Improving governance and regional coordination through data: the ePLANET data platform forum

At the fourth stakeholder forum of the ePLANET project, participants discussed the new data platform tool. The tool will ease and speed up the SECAP drafting and monitoring process, enable the analysis of buildings' energy performance, and facilitate better planning of energy communities.

The beneficiaries will work towards the creation of a new digital framework to share harmonized information for a clean energy transition, and benefit from tailored support.
